Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali has revealed that the national team worked on facing bouncers ahead of their World Cup clash with England on Monday, which they won by 14 runs.
Pakistan worked on playing short-pitched deliveries with batting coach Grant Flower after the West Indies employed them to skittle the men in green out for 105 in their World Cup opener.
The West Indies went on to win that match by seven wickets, but Pakistan bounced back with an impressive win over England.
“He (Flower) was doing very well with the boys, especially with the bouncer,” Hasan was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Pakistan’s next World Cup game will be against Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday.
