Former Pakistan pace bowler Jalaluddin has admitted that he is highly impressed with the way in which batsmen Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Asif Ali have gotten accustomed to the conditions in England.
Imam struck a career-best 151 in the third ODI against England on Tuesday, while Zaman smashed a superb 138 in the second ODI.
Azam scored 51 in the second ODI, while Asif made a 36-ball 51 in the second ODI and a 43-ball 52 in the third ODI.
“Imam, Fakhar, Asif and Babar played well. They seem to have learnt how to play in the English conditions,” Jalaluddin told The News International.
After the ODI series against England, Pakistan will play two World Cup warm-up games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Bristol and Cardiff on May 24 and 26 respectively.
They will then begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
