Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq believes that current skipper Sarfraz Ahmed should bat at number five at the World Cup.
In addition to Sarfraz moving up the order, Misbah also noted that he needs to take more responsibility when he comes out to bat.
Misbah’s comments come after Sarfraz recently said that he will look to bat at number four of five at the World Cup.
In the second ODI against England on Saturday, Sarfraz came in at number six and struck an unbeaten 41 off 32 balls.
“Sarfraz should take more responsibility in the batting department and come in to bat at the number five position,” Misbah was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
