Mickey Arthur has warned other teams not to write off Pakistan at the World Cup, which begins in England and Wales on May 30.

Pakistan have struggled in ODIs this year as they were beaten 3-2 by South Africa before being whitewashed 5-0 by Australia.

However, Arthur, who is Pakistan’s head coach, noted that it would be a grave mistake to underestimate his side, especially as they won the Champions Trophy in England in 2017.

“Of course it would be wrong to write Pakistan off for the World Cup. Write us off at your peril,” Arthur was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.

Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
