Shoaib Akhtar: “Once during a tour of Australia, four players approached [me] with the intention of hitting me with a bat”

Legendary Pakistan seamer Shoaib Akhtar has claimed that his teammates nearly attacked him with a bat.

While Akhtar did not mention exactly when the alleged incident took place, he said that it was during a tour of Australia.

He also said four players were involved, but he didn’t reveal their identities.

“Once during a tour of Australia, four players approached [me] with the intention of hitting me with a bat,” he was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
