Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has noted that if the national team want to triumph over England in the five-match ODI series, they will have to bowl, bat and field well.

With the series beginning on Wednesday at The Oval, Ramiz admitted that Pakistan will need to take wickets, latch on to all their catches and score in excess of 300 runs when batting.

Should they be able to do that, Ramiz feels they will come out on top.

“If Pakistan want to beat England, then they [will] need to take wickets, grab catches and post over 300 runs on the scoreboard,” he was quoted as saying by the Business Recorder.

After the ODI series against England, Pakistan will play two World Cup warm-up games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Bristol and Cardiff on May 24 and 26 respectively.

They will then kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
