Pace bowler Mohammad Ilyas has talked about his strengths and weaknesses after an excellent showing in this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he represented the Multan Sultans.
Ilyas took nine wickets in eight matches for the Sultans at an average of 21.55.
He also played for Sindh in their Pakistan Cup clash with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, where he finished with figures of 3-66 off his 10 overs.
Talking about his strengths, the 20-year-old admitted that he is pleased with his in-swingers and ability to maintain a good line when bowling.
However, he conceded that he has to work on his out-swingers if he wants to become a more lethal seamer.

“You learn a lot of things while playing alongside senior players, we learn how to be economical and take wickets… my strength is mostly delivering in-swingers and I stick to bowling stump to stump, whereas, my weakness is in bowling an out-swinger, which I am working on,” he told the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as quoted by the Business Recorder.
