Quetta Gladiators pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain is determined to be part of Pakistan’s World Cup squad after a superb showing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Hasnain finished with 12 wickets in seven games for the Gladiators, who won the tournament, at an average of 17.58.

His impressive performance with the ball and the fact that he can bowl at around 150km/h on a consistent basis earned him a spot in Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia.

With that series beginning on March 22 in Sharjah, the 18-year-old is eager to excel and convince the national selectors that he should be in the country’s World Cup side.

“I prefer getting my wickets via yorkers or bouncers,” he was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au. “I have always been a fast bowler, and I hope to bowl even faster.
