Heavy and persistent rain in Grenada led to the third ODI between the West Indies and England being washed out.
While England won the toss, which took place more than an hour after it was scheduled to be held, and chose to bowl, neither side were able to take to the field as the rain returned.
There was a slight ray of hope when the covers were taken off and it was announced that the match would be a 30-over showdown.
However, even that was scrapped when the rain resumed once again.
Since the rain refused to relent, the umpires had no choice but to call off the match.
As a result, the series remains tied at 1-1 and both teams will be looking to take the lead in the fourth ODI, which will also be held in Grenada, on February 27.
