Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has claimed that head coach Mickey Arthur has been “highly rude” to the national players, but they are powerless to speak out against him.
Akmal said his brother Umar experienced the same thing, but no one believed the accusations he made.
In August 2017, Umar alleged that Arthur swore at him and banned him from training at the National Cricket Academy.
“When we were saying that Mickey Arthur used highly foul language against Umar Akmal, nobody believed us and everyone was criticising Umar,” Kamran told The Nation.
Kamran once again reiterated his claims that Arthur has overstepped his bounds with the current players in the national team, and that everyone has been silenced from speaking out against the 50-year-old.
“Now all is crystal clear as our players have to bear the highly rude and harsh attitude of Mickey Arthur and no one has been allowed to say a word against him,” Kamran said.
