England spinner Jack Leach completed his maiden five-wicket haul to not only lead his side to a 57-run win over Sri Lanka on the final day in Kandy, but also hand them an unassailable 2-0 series lead.
Starting off the day on 226/7, Sri Lanka added 14 runs to their overnight score before wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella was caught by Ben Stokes at slip off the bowling of Moeen Ali for 35.
Moeen struck again two balls later as he clean bowled Sri Lanka stand-in captain Suranga Lakmal for a duck.
Sri Lanka ended up being bowled out for 243 when Malinda Pushpakumara was caught and bowled by Leach for one run.
Leach was the pick of the bowlers with five wickets, while Moeen took four and Adil Rashid claimed one.
England skipper Joe Root was named Man of the Match for his knock of 124 in the second innings.
