Mohsin Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Cricket Committee, has insisted that his comments about head coach Mickey Arthur being a “donkey” were made in the past.
Mohsin didn’t deny calling Arthur a “donkey”, but said that he made the remark prior to assuming his role as chairman of the PCB’s Cricket Committee.
The 63-year-old also lashed out at the media, saying it shouldn’t dig up statements he made in the past and bring them to light in order to tarnish his reputation.
“I hadn’t taken charge as the cricket committee head at that time. I don’t remember in which scenario I had given that comment and now it is in the past,” he told The Express Tribune as quoted by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “[The] media cannot digest seeing Pakistan progress. Whenever something good happens, they find a way to spoil the moment.”
