Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali is brimming with confidence going into his side’s clash with India in the Asia Cup on September 19.

Pakistan will face India at least twice in the tournament, and three times if both teams progress to the final.

Hasan’s confidence stems from the fact that Pakistan triumphed over their arch-rivals when they last met in the final of the Champions Trophy in England last year.

On top of that, Hasan pointed out that his side are more accustomed to the conditions in the United Arab Emirates, which is where the Asia Cup will be held, as they play their home games there.

“We are on top right now. They [India] are under pressure from the previous defeat,” Hasan was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo. “In UAE, these are our conditions, we have the home advantage as we have been playing here for long, and are aware of how to use the conditions.”

The 24-year-old also has high hopes going into the highly-anticipated match as he is aiming to take all 10 wickets in order to please the Pakistan fans and give them the pleasure of watching his trademark celebration multiple times.

“India are a good side and I wish to take all ten wickets rather than a five-for, and make my fans across the world happy with my celebration style,” he said. “There is definitely pressure but I feel good when pressure mounts on me because that is where I try to perform and help my side win.”
