Abdul Razzaq: “There is no truth in such a thing as I am alive and well”

Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has dismissed speculation that he passed away in a road accident.

The rumour first appeared on a Facebook post and soon spread like wildfire around social media.

To put all the speculation to bed, Razzaq released a video on his Twitter account to show that he was “alive and well”.

“A post on social media [Facebook] said that I was involved in an accident and subsequently died. There is no truth in such a thing as I am alive and well,” he said in the video as quoted by Sport360. “People should refrain from posting such fake news on social media without properly investigating the story.”
