The Chennai Super Kings will be without the services of batsman Suresh Raina for the next two games as he sustained a calf injury.
Raina suffered the injury while batting during the Super Kings’ tense win over the Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday.
He required medical attention after injuring his calf, but played on before being dismissed for 14.
Raina will be sidelined when the Super Kings take on the Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Sunday and the Rajasthan Royals in Pune on April 20.
Raina’s injury comes at a bad time for the Super Kings as they already lost batsman Kedar Jadhav for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a grade two hamstring injury.
