Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed has revealed that many Indian cricketers swear while out on the field and added that if his side were to do they same, they would be condemned for it.
Sarfraz’s comments come after he was questioned about the remarks Kohli made just before the tea break on the second day of the second Test against South Africa in Centurion in January.
Kohli was heard saying: “If we can play until the evening they will be scared s***less.”
Speaking to Samaa TV about the incident, Sarfraz said: “The problem is when Virat Kohli is caught swearing, people like him but if someone among us does the same, he will draw a lot of criticism.
“They (Indian cricketers) do it quite a lot. It’s a normal practice there. Recently Dhoni’s video also surfaced. If Sarfraz abuses someone, Twitter is flooded with criticism.”
