England have called up all-rounder Craig Overton as a replacement for pace bowler Liam Plunkett for the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand.
Plunkett was ruled out of the series after aggravating a hamstring injury while playing against New Zealand in the T20 tri-series last Tuesday.
Overton made his Test debut during the Ashes, but sustained a fractured rib during the third Test in Perth in December.
With the 23-year-old having made a full recovery, there is a chance he could make his ODI debut in the series against the Black Caps, which begins on February 25 in Hamilton.
