Perth Scorchers surged to the top of the Big Bash League (BBL) standings after opener Michael Klinger hammered a sensational 83 to help them beat the Sydney Sixers by six wickets.
Opting to bowl first, the Scorchers got an early breakthrough as Jason Roy was trapped lbw off the bowling of David Willey for six runs.
Peter Nevill made an encouraging start to his innings before he was stumped by Josh Inglis off the bowling of James Muirhead for 33.
Like Nevill, Nic Maddinson also made a good start to his innings, but he ended up being removed by Willey for a 22-ball 30.
Sam Billings and Jordan Silk stabilised the innings with a 56-run partnership before Billings was caught by Willey at mid-off off the bowling of Andrew Tye for 33.
Silk went on to score 45 off 33 deliveries, which included three boundaries and a six, as the Sixers finished on 167/4 off their 20 overs.

Hilton Cartwright was on his way back to the pavilion shortly after as he was run out by Sixers captain Johan Botha for 10 runs.
