Only 2.2 overs were bowled before heavy rain led to the second ODI between England and the West Indies being washed out at Trent Bridge.
England got off to a cracking start after being put in to bat first as they had 21 runs on the board after 2.2 overs, but that was to be all the action for the rest of the day as the rain brought things to a soggy end.
Alex Hales concluded the match on 10 not out, while Jonny Bairstow, who scored his maiden ODI century in the first ODI, remained undefeated on nine.
England still lead the series 1-0 going into the third ODI in Bristol on Sunday.
