The self-proclaimed Universe Boss is set to make his international comeback in the ODI series against England next month after being included in the West Indies’ squad.

Gayle’s inclusion comes after Cricket West Indies relaxed its policy on players having to feature in domestic tournament.

The board also offered an amnesty to the high-profile players following a string of disappointing results that has left the West Indies in doubt of automatically qualifying for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.

With only the top eight sides being bestowed with the honour, the West Indies have until September 30 to rise up the rankings. If they fail to do so, they will find themselves involved in a qualification tournament, where the top two sides will get the remaining two spots in the event.

But, moving away from the serious side of things, it’s Friday and Gayle’s return is imminent. With that in mind, it’s time to let the Jamaican powerhouse show us the art of dancing and celebrations.

5. Gayle imitates Cristiano Ronaldo

Originality is always preferred, but when Gayle decided to imitate Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, it still left people in stitches as he made the celebration all the more flamboyant.

4. Gayle’s got the moves

John Travolta’s moves in Saturday Night Fever are considered to be classic, but Gayle could give Travolta a run for his money if these moves are anything to go by.

3. Dancing West Indies style

Gayle and Dwayne Bravo are known to be the best of friends, but which one is the better dancer? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below!

2. Gangnam Gayle

PSY’s Gangnam Style made him an overnight sensation and shortly after the hit song was released, Gayle decided to use it as a celebration at all times. Whether it be taking wickets or winning the World Twenty20 in 2012, the 37-year-old just couldn’t get enough.

1. Everybody know Chris Gayle is a champion!

Yes, the song and dance move may have been invented by Bravo, but Gayle joining in makes it all the more entertaining.
