England wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow suffered an injury scare just a day before the first Test against South Africa.
Bairstow was struck on the toe by a yorker from Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar, while batting in the nets.
Bairstow immediately hobbled out of the nets after being hit by the 17-year-old and his left foot was subsequently put in a compression unit for a while in order to ease the pain.
Arjun has bowled to England in the nets before as his father owns a house near Lord’s.
