England all-rounder Ben Stokes has been given the all clear to play in the second ODI against South Africa in Southampton on Saturday.
England had been sweating over Stokes following the first ODI at Headingley, where he injured his knee while bowling.
Prior to hurting his knee, Stokes scored 25 runs and bowled two overs. However, after getting injured, he did not bowl for the remainder of the match.
Stokes underwent a fitness test on Friday and passed, meaning that not only can he play the second ODI, but he can bowl as well.
