Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been declared fit for the Champions Trophy in England next month.
Earlier this month, Stoinis injured his shoulder while training with the Kings XI Punjab in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
Having returned home with a damaged AC joint, there were doubts about whether he would be able to represent Australia at the Champions Trophy.
However, those fears have been laid to rest after he resumed bowling on Wednesday.
“He bowled today and medical staff were happy with his progress,” a Cricket Australia spokesperson said.
Australia will travel to England on Thursday and begin their Champions Trophy campaign against New Zealand on June 2 at Edgbaston.
