Bangladesh have brought in uncapped left-arm spinner Sunzamul Islam and all-rounder Shuvagata Hom for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Sunzamul earned his call-up based on his excellent performance in domestic cricket, where he took 25 wickets in the recently concluded first-class competition.
As for Shuvagata, he has not played ODI cricket since October 2011, but he was drafted back into the side after scoring 265 runs, which included a hundred, and picking up 25 wickets in the first-class tournament.
Wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan retained his spot, as did all-rounder Mahmudullah despite reports saying that he would be axed.
The three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh begins on March 25 in Dambulla.
