Dowrich, Cummins removed from ODI squad

Wicketkeeper-batsman Shane Dowrich and pace bowler Miguel Cummins have been axed from the West Indies’ squad for the three-match ODI series against England.

With Dowrich and Cummins out, the West Indies’ squad has been trimmed from 15 men to 13.

Dowrich has represented the West Indies in eight Tests, but has still yet to make his ODI debut. Cummins, meanwhile, has featured in two ODIs, the most recent of which came against Zimbabwe in November last year.

The three-match ODI series will begin on March 3 in Antigua.

West Indies ODI squad: Jason Holder (capt), Devendra Bishoo, Carlos Brathwaite, Kraigg Brathwaite, Jonathan Carter, Shannon Gabriel, Shai Hope (wk), Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Ashley Nurse, Kieran Powell, Rovman Powell.
