England left-arm seamer David Willey has been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against the West Indies in the Caribbean next month after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Willey, who injured his shoulder in the ODI series against India last month, had the operation after it was revealed that he had partially torn a tendon.
The Northampton native is also likely to miss the start of the county season with Yorkshire as a result of the procedure on his left shoulder.
With the 26-year-old out of action until April, he has been replaced in the squad by fellow seamer Steven Finn.
England will travel to the West Indies next Wednesday and will begin their tour with two warm-up games prior to the ODI series, which starts on March 3 in Antigua.
