England captain Eoin Morgan has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate in the second ODI against India in Cuttack on Thursday.

England were found to be one over short after time allowances were taken into consideration.

As a result, the rest of the England players that featured in the match were docked 10 per cent of their match fees.

Since Morgan accepted the sanction laid by match referee Andy Pycroft, there will be no need for a formal hearing.

Morgan made 102 in a losing effort in the second ODI and England will now head into the third and final match in Kolkata searching for a consolation win as India hold an unassailable 2-0 lead.
