Shapoor was unharmed in the attack

Afghanistan pace bowler Shapoor Zadran was attacked by gunmen in Kabul, according to reports.

The reports indicate that the attack took place on Saturday night in the Bagrami area of the capital as Shapoor was heading back to his house with his brother.

While both of them escaped unharmed, sources close to the 31-year-old revealed that this is not the first time unidentified gunmen have carried out an attack on him.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) have yet to make a statement about the incident.
