South Africa pace bowler Vernon Philander suffered a shoulder injury in the opening session of the first day of the second Test against Australia in Hobart.
Philander sustained the injury when he and Australia captain Steven Smith collided with each other in the 13th over.
Philander, who was bowling his seventh over at the time, had ripped through the Australian line-up as he dismissed David Warner, Usman Khawaja and Adam Voges, with the latter two coming in successive balls.
The 31-year-old left the field after receiving treatment, but South African fans will be glad to hear that the injury is not serious. Furthermore, Philander was seen bowling during the lunch break and will be back in action in the second session.
