Malinga will be back for the Asia Cup and World Twenty20

Sri Lanka Twenty20 captain Lasith Malinga and vice-captain Angelo Mathews have been included in the country’s Asia Cup and World Twenty20 squads.

Malinga has been recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the recent tour of New Zealand, while Mathews has been nursing a groin strain.

Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath and pace bowler Nuwan Kulasekara were also drafted into the side, but there was no place for Kasun Rajitha, who took three wickets on debut in the first Twenty20 International against India on February 9.
