Daniel Vettori will help develop and groom the England Performance Programme spinners for 10 days in Dubai next month.

The former New Zealand spinner will share his knowledge with Zafar Ansari, Danny Briggs, Tom Westley and Stephen Parry in particular, but also work with Ravi Patel, Will Beer and Matt Carter.

“Daniel has been one of the most successful and respected spinners in world cricket for almost two decades, so we are delighted to add his considerable experience to the England Performance Programme this winter,” the England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) lead spin bowling coach Peter Such said. “I am sure that the players will benefit from working with him for the 10 days that he is with the EPP in November.”

Vettori, who retired from international cricket after the World Cup earlier this year, recently signed a three-year deal to represent the Brisbane Heat in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) and also coaches the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
