New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor will not feature in the one-off Twenty20 International against Zimbabwe and the upcoming limited overs series against South Africa after undergoing a minor surgical procedure to repair a groin injury.
Taylor suffered a blow to the groin while training before the third ODI in Harare, which New Zealand went on to win by 38 runs and clinch the series 2-1.
According to a New Zealand Cricket (NZC) statement, no replacement will be named for Taylor as all-rounder James Neesham took his place in the side for the third ODI.
