It was the Dwayne and Darren Bravo show once again as the former claimed a sensational five-wicket haul, while the latter hammered an unbeaten 86 to lead the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel to a comfortable 27-run win over the Jamaica Tallawahs.

As a result of their win, the Red Steel will now face the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the second semi-final on Saturday and will have a chance to advance to the final, where they will face Barbados Tridents, who are the defending champions.

Even though the Red Steel did not get off to the best of starts after opting to bat first, Bravo came to the rescue with his entertaining innings of 86, which came off 63 balls and included four boundaries and six sixes.

As a result of his electrifying knock, the Red Steel managed to make 152/6 off their 20 overs.

Jerome Taylor was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets, while Krishmar Santokie, Andre Russell, Narsingh Deonarine and Nikita Miller chipped in with one wicket apiece.

Chasing 153 to win, all of the Tallawahs’ batsmen, with the exception of Chadwick Walton and captain Chris Gayle, failed to have an impact.

Walton scored 31 runs, while Gayle made 30, but it was not enough as the Tallawahs were ultimately bowled out for 125.

Bravo inflicted the most damage with five wickets, while Kevon Cooper snapped up two and Jacques Kallis, Sulieman Benn and Johan Botha claimed one wicket each.
