"We've learned a lot from that last tour and we've started to play some really good cricket so it's going to be a great contest"

Australia head coach Darren Lehmann believes that the national team have learnt important lessons from their last Ashes series in England, which they lost 3-0.

However, Lehmann pointed out that the 2013 series was a lot tighter than the scoreline suggests and feels that his side have what it takes to win the Ashes in England for the first time since 2001.

“They’re a good side at home, so we need to play well,” Lehmann told Sky Sports. “They played well last time which was only two years ago. That was a tight series, they won it 3-0, I thought it was tighter than that.
