England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler will miss the fifth and final ODI against New Zealand in Durham due to a hand injury.

Buttler split the webbing on his left hand during a fielding session and was replaced by Yorkshire’s Jonathan Bairstow.

Buttler’s absence is a major blow for England as the ODI series is tied 2-2 after England chased down their highest ODI total during the fourth match in Nottingham.
