Former South Africa pace bowler Charl Langeveldt has been appointed as the Proteas’ new bowling coach.

Langeveldt, who represented South Africa in six Tests, 72 ODIs and nine Twenty20 Internationals, will replace Allan Donald, who stepped down from the post in April.

Meanwhile, it has also been announced that former Kwa-Zulu Natal player Linda Zondi has been put in charge of a brand new selection panel, which also includes Ashwell Prince, Errol Stewart and Hussein Manack.

Head coach Russell Domingo has also been given a seat on the panel and had his contract extended until 2017.

Adrian Birrell will continue holding the assistant head coach position, while Claude Henderson has been retained as the spin bowling consultant.

The rest of the support staff remained unchanged.
