“In the back of your mind you always want to look to be a leader”

Australia opener David Warner will captain the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Sunrisers confirmed this via their Twitter account, saying: “Congratulations @davidwarner31 on being the SRH captain for IPL 2015. We wish you all the best!”
In November last year, Warner revealed that he had always wanted to lead a team. Since he has now been given the opportunity to do so, the entire cricketing community will be eager to find out what type of captain he is and what kind of mentality and approach he takes before and during matches.
“In the back of your mind you always want to look to be a leader,” Warner told News Limited in November. “Whether I end up getting a leadership role or not I feel I’m going to be a leader anyway.
“(Sometimes) you need a lesson and you need to have a bit of a stuff up along the way to give you a kick in the backside. But I’ve always felt I’ve got a lot to offer to the guys.”
