Derbyshire have signed Sri Lanka all-rounder Tillakaratne Dilshan for two separate stints this season.

In his first stint, which will come in June, Dilshan will be available for four Natwest T20 Blast matches and two County Championship matches.

Following the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Dilshan will return to Derbyshire at the beginning of August and be available for the rest of the season.

“Derbyshire are an ambitious club with an exciting young team and I’m looking forward to joining them in the NatWest T20 Blast and then returning to help them finish the season strongly,” Dilshan said. “I am really pleased with my current form and this makes me confident I can make a strong contribution to Derbyshire this season.”
