According to Sri Lanka team manager Michael de Zoysa, the national team are extremely frustrated with their exhausting travel schedule.

After playing their first two World Cup matches in New Zealand, Sri Lanka travelled to Australia to face Bangladesh in Melbourne.

However, after thrashing Bangladesh by 92 runs, Sri Lanka were back on a plane to Wellington just a few hours later since they will face England at the Westpac stadium on Sunday.

“It would have been nice to have finished New Zealand before coming to Australia,” de Zoysa said. “It certainly is inconvenient and tiring for the boys.”
