Smith and Deane got married in 2011

Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith and his wife, Irish singer Morgan Deane, have decided to get divorced after being together for three-and-a-half years.

According to sources, it was Deane who wanted to get a divorce.

Smith and Deane, who got married in 2011 in Cape Town, have a two-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

“I confirm that Graeme and Morgan are unfortunately divorcing,” the couple’s lawyer, David Becker, said. “This is obviously a private matter and the couple would ask that their privacy is respected during this time, both for the sake of themselves and their children.”
