
Steyn played in South Africa’s World Cup opener against Zimbabwe with a sore throat and blocked nose

South Africa are hoping that pace bowler Dale Steyn will recover from the flu in time for their World Cup match against India on February 22 in Melbourne.
“He has a bout of sinusitis but will be back at training tomorrow,” South Africa’s media manager Lerato Malekutu said.
It was also revealed that Steyn played in South Africa’s World Cup opener against Zimbabwe despite suffering from a sore throat and blocked nose.
