Islam has been cleared of any major injury

Bangladesh left-arm spinner Taijul Islam gave the national team a major scare when he was hit on the wrist while batting in the nets on Monday evening at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.

However, after X-rays showed no major damage to his wrist, Islam is expected to resume training right away.

Bangladesh will travel to Brisbane on January 24 for a two-week training camp prior to the start of the World Cup.
