“I just pray I get a chance to play against India in the opening match”

Pakistan pace bowler Sohail Khan has announced that he is looking forward to playing India in the 2015 World Cup.

Khan’s comments come after he was included in Pakistan’s 15-man World Cup squad even though he has not played any ODI cricket since 2011.

“I am delighted to be back in the squad after three years and I just pray I get a chance to play against India in the opening match,” Khan told PTI. “I am well aware how important this opening match will be against India because if we do well it will give us momentum in the entire tournament. So I am looking forward to the challenge of bowling to their batsmen, particularly Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.”
