Zimbabwe all-rounder Malcolm Waller has been banned from bowling in international matches after his action was found to be illegal by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The ICC revealed that during the biomechanics test at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria, all of Waller’s off-spin deliveries exceeded the 15-degree flex limit.
Waller was reported for a suspect action following the second Test against Bangladesh in Khulna last month.
Waller can get his action reassessed at any time, but if he fails once again, he will be banned from bowling in international matches for a year.
