West Indies batsman Assad Fudadin has been ruled out of the ongoing Test series against South Africa due to a finger injury.
Fudadin fractured his right ring finger while training on the first day of the first Test in Centurion and had it surgically repaired later on that same day.
Fudadin was called up to the Test team after fellow batsman Darren Bravo was ruled out of the series due to person reasons.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have yet to announce who will take Fudadin’s spot on the roster.
