The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) annual elections have been postponed to a date no later than January 31, 2015 following a directive from the Supreme Court.

The BCCI were set to hold their elections on December 17, but decided against it until all the hearings regarding the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) corruption case have been completed.

This is the third time the BCCI have postponed their elections since the Supreme Court have not come to a decision on what action to take against sidelined president Narayanaswami Srinivasan for his involvement in the IPL scandal.
