West Indies pace bowler Ravi Rampaul has not been included in the country’s 30-man preliminary World Cup squad.
Rampaul last represented the West Indies in two ODIs against India before the tour was cut short due to the payment dispute between the national team, West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA).
Interestingly enough, the West Indies have decided to include six uncapped players in the squad.
Those six players are pace bowler Kenroy Peters, leg-spinner Imran Khan, off-spinner Ashley Nurse, fast bowler Marquino Mindley, opening batsman Evin Lewis and all-rounder Jonathan Carter.
