It has been announced that England will take on the West Indies and Pakistan in their World Cup warm-up matches.

England will face the West Indies in Sydney on February 9 and will square off against Pakistan in the same city just two days later.

South Africa will take on Sri Lanka and New Zealand, while Australia will play India, who are the reigning World Cup champions.

“The public will be welcome to attend warm-up matches which will be ticketed but free of charge,” the International Cricket Council (ICC) said.

Pakistan v Bangladesh at Sydney
