Pietersen wants someone else to take over as ODI captain

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has called on Alastair Cook to resign as ODI captain following the national team’s eight-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in the second ODI in Colombo.
Pietersen’s comments come after Cook only managed scores of 10 and 22 in both matches of the ongoing series.
“Dear Alastair, if you care about England’s chances this winter, pls resign and just concentrate on Test cricket…#getHalesin,” Pietersen said via his Twitter account following the conclusion of the second ODI.
