Sri Lanka have recalled batsman Thilina Kandamby for the upcoming ODI series against England, which gets underway on November 26 in Colombo.

All-rounder Jeevan Mendis and off-spinner Dilruwan Perera have both been included in the side as well.

However, pace bowler Nuwan Kulasekara, leg-spinner Seekkuge Prasanna and all-ronder Chaturanga de Silva have all been dropped following their disappointing performance during the recently concluded five-match ODI series against India.

It has been announced that Shaminda Eranga, who has not played ODI cricket for more than a year, will replace Kulasekara.

It is also understood that veteran spinner Rangana Herath will make his international comeback, while spinner Ajantha Mendis and the pace duo of Lahiru Gamage and Dhammika Prasad have all retained their spots in the squad.

Sri Lanka ODI squad: Angelo Mathews (capt), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kusal Perera, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Mahela Jayawardena, Lahiru Thirimanne, Jeevan Mendis, Thilina Kandamby, Rangana Herath, Dilruwan Perera, Ajantha Mendis, Shaminda Eranga, Dhammika Prasad, Thisara Perera, Lahiru Gamage
